Worship Schedule for Holy Week:

April 13 - Join us on Palm Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for a celebratory worship service featuring scripture, songs and prayer that celebrate Jesus’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem.

April 17 - Maundy Thursday we will celebrate Jesus’s Last Supper with his disciples.  We will begin our celebration with a simple meal of soup and bread in the Fellowship Hall at 6:15 p.m., followed by a somber service of worship at 7:00 p.m.  Come for both parts of the service, or only one, depending on your needs.

April 18 - Good Friday the Sanctuary will be open during the day from noon until 3:00 p.m. for prayer and meditation.  A church leader will be available to greet you and give you materials to guide your prayers. 

April 20 - Easter Sunday, we come together to celebrate the stone that was rolled away.  Join us for worship at 10:00 a.m. as we live into and celebrate the mystery that is Resurrection.

Who We Are

Yes, we are different. Instead of being a congregation of folk who claim to have all the answers, we are a congregation that continues to acknowledge that belief and doubt are both vital to our relationship with God as finite and sinful people. We admit that our faith changes as we change. None of us are the people we were five years ago, nor do we live in the same context that we did five years ago. That is not to say that Scripture does not express timeless truth, but it does say that the Spirit is constantly teaching us and opening us to new understandings of how Truth comes alive in our lives. We believe all of us are on a Spiritual journey with no one journey being more valued or complete than another. We are actors in a divine mystery. As one translator has translated I Corinthians 13:12 We don’t yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!

At Dunnellon Presbyterian Church we walk with each other through the fog and mist together. Together we worship. Together we participate in faith-forming activities like Bible study. Together we share in Fellowship. Together we serve God and one another. Each of these activities helps us to discover who God is and what God is calling us to be and to do. Dunnellon Presbyterian Church is a place of love, security, rest, transformation, and freedom that enables us to remember now and always that we are beloved children of God.
